Sarah Soucek is a filmmaker and educator from Maine. She is an Instructor in the Department of Art, Art History & Visual Studies at Duke University. Working with documentary, animation, and experimental film, her practice begins with ordinary encounters and follows the ways they shift through language and performance. She received her MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts from Duke University and holds a BA in Film and Electronic Arts from Bard College.
